Lesson 1

God first created heaven and earth.Then He created all other creatures.

Let us look at the nature.Seeds sprout,plants grow;

They blossom and bear fruit.Animals are born,

They move,grow and multiplay.

We too have life.we are born,we eat,we play,

We grow,we can work,laugh and think.God who

Created everything,created us also.

“Then the LORD God formed man from the

Dust of the ground,and breathed into his

Nostrils the breath of life;and the man

Become a living being”(Genesis 2:7).

We can breathe,God gave us air and the ability to breathe.

If there is no air in the atmosphere,we will not be

Able to breathe.If we do not get breath,we will die.

It is God who gives us life.

God gave us life-to grow in love,

To do good in this world and

Thus to attain heaven.

God let our first parents Adam and Eve to live

In the garden of Eden.There were various types of plants

and tree in it.It was also blessed with different

kinds of birds and animals and other creatures.

Adam liked all these.He named them all.Adam and Eve

listened to the songs of the birds,ate the fruit of various trees

and lived happily in the garden of Eden.

What a beautiful place was the garden of Eden! Adam

and Eve lived there in love.They lived with God in happiness.

God desires that man lives in this happiness.To live with God

is the greatest happiness of man.

If we live with God

We will have life

We will have happiness

Let us pray

O God,

Who gave me life,

I praise you.

I thank you.

Help me to live with you

Let us sing

Who made you?

God made me.

Who gave you life?

God gave you love
