Jesus Who Teaches The People

  • Wherever Jesus went, a large crowd followed Him. Once, when He saw the crowd, He climbed up the mountain and
    sat there. The crowd took their seats around Him. Jesus felt compassion for those poor people. He began to teach them many things. He taught them that if they show mercy to others, they will get mercy; if they are pure of heart, they
    will see God; and those who are just will inherit heaven.
     
    A summary of Jesus' teachings is known as Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12).
     
    Jesus asked us to love not only those who love us but also our enemies. Jesus taught us how to forgive those who hurt us. He said:“ But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also;” (Matthew 5: 39).
     
     

     

    Jesus also taught people how to pray. The prayer that Jesus taught is known as the Lord's Prayer beginning with Our Father in Heaven. Jesus taught us not to be worried about any thing in our life, but to trust completely in the providence of God. He
    helped us to understand how God feeds the lilies of the field and the birds of the air.
     
    Jesus is the Teacher (Guru) who taught people such gospel truths.
     
    Jesus is the Teacher and Lord of the world
     
    Whatever Jesus did and taught is recorded in Today Jesus speaks to us through the Bible.
