Lesson 7

God With Us

  •  
    God who loves us desired to be with us.
     Hence He sent His own Son to us.
     
    A very cold night. Stars shone in the sky. In the silence
    of the night, the shepherds heard a melodious sweet song.
    At that night when Jesus was born in the manger at Bethlehem,
    choirs of angels in array announced a joyful good news.
     
    “to you is born this day in the city of David a savior,
    who is the Messiah, the Lord’’(Luke 2:11). 
     
    Jesus is the Son of God who became man.
    Thus God came to us and stayed with us.

     

    Let us sing

     

    O, sing a hymn of Bethlehem,
    Of shepherds watching there;
    And of the news that came to them
    From angels in the air;
    The light that shone on Bethlehem
    Fills all the world today;
    Of Jesus' birth and peace on earth
    The angels sing always.
